Literature
The Luristan region was a significant centre for metalworking during the Iron Age in the ancient Near East; producing weapons, ornaments, and other objects of bronze and iron. Ancient Luristan and Persian people described such weapons as ‘aršti’, translating to ‘throwing weapon’ or ‘javelin’.
