The circular body is decorated in red-figure with a goose on either side of the vessel. There is a strap handle and an upright spout. Intact with minor surface wear.

Literature

Askoi were pouring vessels for oils. For similar examples and discussion of the type, cf. L. Massei, Gli Askoi a figure rosse nei corredi funerari delle necropolis di Spina, Milan, 1978.
