The spherical bodied vessel with flattened base, a trefoil lip, and strap handle. The body decorated in umber on cream with chevrons and swastikas, a band around the join of the neck to the shoulder, the rim of the lip with a painted border and two concentric circle eyes, one to each side, to give the impression of a bird head. The handle with a ladder pattern, a saltire square, and a curving 'tail' at the bottom where the handle joins to the body.
Condition: Intact, minor surface wear and chipping.
