A loop in loop chain featuring a gold pendant known as a lunula, a crescent moon amulet worn by girls in ancient Rome, complete with its original elongated hook and eye clasp. The chain has been extended with modern gold chain to ensure it is wearable.
Condition Intact, minor scratches to the surface. An additional small amount of modern gold chain has been added to allow the necklace to be worn.
